TAIF, SAUDI ARABIA – December 28, 2025: The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission has announced the launch of the third edition of the Writers and Readers Festival, taking place in Taif from January 9 to 15, 2026. Held at Ar-Ruddaf Park under the theme “Your Presence is a Gain,” the festival offers an integrated cultural and entertainment experience designed to be a vibrant space celebrating writers and readers of all ages.
The selection of Taif as the host city underscores its prestigious cultural standing. Taif is recognized as the first city in Saudi Arabia to join the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of literature. This edition aims to bridge the city’s deep historical roots with modern cultural expression, fostering a stronger connection between new generations and the world of knowledge.
