Azerbaijan Tourism Board Concludes Successful Roadshow Tour Across Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia — November 29, 2025 — The Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) has successfully concluded a high-profile series of roadshows across Saudi Arabia, held from November 24–26. Organized in collaboration with 11 key industry partners, including Shahdag Mountain Resort and Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), the initiative aimed to further promote Azerbaijan as a premier, year-round travel destination for Saudi tourists.

The tour covered three major cities—Jeddah, Al Khobar, and Riyadh—and connected the delegation with over 200 Saudi travel companies and media representatives.

Strengthening Ties and Expanding Opportunities The events served as a strategic platform to showcase Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism portfolio, with a specific focus on segments that resonate with the Saudi market:

  • Halal Hospitality: Tailored services meeting the cultural and religious needs of regional travelers.
  • Family-Focused Holidays: Safe, engaging, and diverse activities suitable for all ages.
  • Health and Wellness: World-class retreats and nature-based wellness tourism.

Each stop on the tour featured detailed destination presentations and curated B2B meetings. These sessions allowed participants to explore direct cooperation opportunities and discuss the creation of tailored travel products that appeal to Saudi residents.

Ease of Access The roadshow also highlighted the logistical ease of visiting Azerbaijan. ATB emphasized the simplified visa procedures currently in place, alongside the availability of frequent direct flights from major Saudi cities via Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and other carriers.

Through initiatives like this roadshow, ATB continues to strengthen its presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). These ongoing efforts are driving a growing number of visitors from the Kingdom, reinforcing Azerbaijan’s appeal as a top regional destination.
