December 29, 2025 – Saudi Arabia: Dragons Holding Group announced during its media conference held in Riyadh, the launch of the Comprehensive Upgrade Strategy for Dragon World Saudi Arabia, officially transforming it from a traditional trade center into an integrated platform for China–Saudi industrial cooperation. This strategic move aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
This transformation follows more than 20 years of success of the Dragon City model in Dubai and Bahrain, where Dragon Mart Dubai has become one of the largest distribution hubs for Chinese products in the Middle East, with annual trade volumes exceeding USD 10 billion.
The Group’s Vice President Osama and Chief Operating Officer Ding Pingyan confirmed that the Saudi market has entered a new phase that requires more than importing products. Today, Saudi Arabia needs factories, projects, technologies, and industrial investments that contribute to economic diversification and industrial localization. They emphasized that Dragon World Saudi Arabia is now a platform that enables Chinese companies to enter the Saudi market through real industrial partnerships, rather than traditional trade, ensuring mutual benefit for both countries.
Three Major Leaps The launch of Dragon World in Riyadh represents three major transformations: 1. From trade to industrial cooperation 2. From product distribution to integrated industrial ecosystems 3. From one-way exporting to bilateral China–Saudi partnerships The share of manufacturers in the project has risen from 38% to 82% in one year, with more than 350 industrial companies joining in sectors such as construction, oil & gas, new energy, advanced materials, and smart manufacturing, supported by a supply network of 20,000 companies and over one million products.
Key Investments • Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group (ranked 13th globally) opened a center showcasing its full integrated construction system. • Shanghai Shifeng launched a showroom featuring over 50,000 construction products, backed by 1,200 Chinese factories. Oil equipment companies that entered through Dragon World have already signed contracts exceeding SAR 2 billion within just two months, thanks to smart solutions that save up to 35% in energy and significantly increase production efficiency.
From Exhibition Center to Industrial Enabler Dragon World Saudi Arabia has evolved into a full industrial empowerment platform offering: • Exhibition and showroom setup • Connections with government entities and industrial cities • Licensing facilitation • Localization and investment support The project also introduced flexible solutions such as commercial agencies, temporary showrooms, factory site selection, investment, and financing, supporting companies at every stage of market entry into Saudi Arabia.
