RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA – 12 February 2026 — Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, showcased its advanced data center solutions at Datacenter Nation Riyadh 2026. The company emphasized its commitment to building scalable, resilient, and sustainable infrastructure to support Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding digital economy.
Addressing the AI Power Demand During a high-level panel titled “Racing the Deployment of Large-Scale Data Centers,” Schneider Electric experts highlighted the urgency of modernizing infrastructure. According to recent industry reports, advanced AI workloads are expected to nearly double their market share—from 13% to 28% by 2027—placing immense pressure on power and cooling systems.
Innovations in Cooling and Speed-to-Market To meet this growing demand, Schneider Electric focused on two critical areas:
- Next-Gen Cooling: The introduction of liquid cooling solutions to manage high-density AI compute workloads.
- Modular Construction: The use of prefabricated and modular designs to drastically reduce construction timelines and ensure delivery certainty for hyperscalers and investors.
Strategic Leadership Perspective “Data center development in Saudi Arabia is accelerating in both scale and complexity,” said Mohamed Shaheen, CEO of Schneider Electric Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Pakistan, and Bahrain. “Delivering these projects efficiently depends on strong coordination between developers, operators, and technology partners. Our focus is on supporting infrastructure that is reliable, energy-efficient, and designed for long-term operation.”
Collaborative Ecosystems Representing the company on the panel, Mourad Younes (C&SP Senior Director, MEA) and Ahmed GamalEldin (Secure Power VP) discussed the necessity of harmonized standards and talent development. They noted that as Saudi Arabia becomes a regional data hub, risk-sharing mechanisms and regulatory coordination will be key to reducing time-to-market for large-scale developments.
Schneider Electric reaffirmed its dedication to working closely with Saudi partners to foster a robust and sustainable data center ecosystem aligned with Vision 2030.
